I found this cool vintage Christmas tree stand at a thrift store (duh) and bought it without a second thought. I knew that I wanted to upcycle it into a table base, but I didn’t know how I would make the table leg or top. Luckily, Lowe’s saved the tree stand from entering craft room purgatory when I came across plumbing parts and a round wooden table top.
The types and sizes of plumbing parts are almost infinite and they are perfect for many a DIY project. An item called a floor flange is a great way to attach a pipe to another surface like a table top. I’ve got an idea for another table right now that I’ll share with you when it comes to fruition!
