I love vintage suitcases and train cases. I think they’re super cool, but I’m not about to give up my modern luggage with handles and wheels! So I had to come up with something to do with this old orange suitcase.
It just so happened that Toasty and Fiona (my feline friends) needed a place to take their cat naps. So I ripped the lining out of the suitcase and Mod Podged some cool fabric in there. I also screwed a small piece of wood to the top and bottom so that the suitcase wouldn’t close on my unsuspecting kitties! I really love how it turned out! So much that I also made some sofa pillows out of the same fabric. Here’s Toasty giving it a test drive!
